Hello friends!
Thanks for your patience last week as a series of tech issues made it difficult to get the journaling prompts out!
As you might know, I just returned from almost three weeks in Bali where I was teaching (wait for it), journaling.
It was incredibly rewarding to watch folks, in real time, realize how journaling can transform their lives and develop the skills necessary to keep up the ritual. I watched as participants learned to understand their inner lives better, heal themselves, and even get dreamy about what they wanted out of life. At our closing circle, many in the group who had been cynical about journaling to start admitted that our time together turned them into true believers.
For me, being immersed in journaling and at the same time so far away from home gave me the space and perspective to tap into Oprah Mind.
Oprah Mind
I don’t know if you can relate but often, I can get so lost in the demands of my everyday life that I forget to be expansive, to have flipping dreams, and to think about the life I am moving into. Being on a big trip, far from home, gave me the time and space to tap into my Oprah Mind and make sure I still even have dreams and that I’m on track towards fulfilling them.
I recorded a lil podcast that you can journal with, if you’d like! In the audio, I go a little deeper. And hopefully provide at least 1-2 lolz. Just click below!
What is Oprah Mind?
It’s a mindset that is expansive, abundant, and full of possibility. Your Oprah Mind will win an Oscar, write a book, write ten books. It will make the ballsy move of ending a hugely successful TV show to start a TV network if it damn well pleases. This mind is as boundless as the night’s sky. Do you think Oprah spends all day consumed by her worries? Hell no. She has an empire to run and new ventures to imagine and put into action. She dreams and thinks BIG, and that’s what I want for both you and me.
